Mounting to the tube / cartridge is done by clamping two fastening screws. The assembly is gentle on the surface on which it is mounted. After mounting on the tube, the assembly does not protrude beyond the opposite edge of the tube, so the full circumference of the tube / cartridge is not required for installation. The distance of the top edge of the RIS rail from the surface on which it is mounted is 18 mm.
